Northwest SEED provides educational events to community members to support renewable energy project development.
HEATWISE: South Everett is a limited-time program designed to encourage installation of ductless heat pumps in the South Everett community. Ductless heat pumps are an energy efficient way to heat and cool your home at a lower cost than traditional heating systems. Snohomish PUD and Northwest SEED partnered with local installers, and community volunteers to boost awareness, deliver education, and help neighbors come together to enjoy significant discounts through the group purchase of ductless heat pump (DHP) systems.
Final results are in!
- 75 participants were educated on the benefits of ductless heat pumps
- 38 people installed a ductless heat pump
- Those 38 ductless heat pumps will save approximately 133,000 kilowatt hours per year, which is equivalent to taking 19 cars off the road for a year. Well done, South Everett!
