Board of Directors Opening

Northwest SEED is seeking passionate and committed people to join our Board of Directors. The organization is poised for growth and is actively recruiting board members who are committed to curbing the effects of climate change through clean energy deployment. Northwest SEED envisions a region where every resident, regardless of income or race, lives in housing that is sustainable, healthy, affordable and resilient. Clean energy can play an important role in lowering energy costs and increasing resiliency in the face of climate change. To inform our work, we are seeking board members that are representative of minority and low-income communities. In addition, we are seeking individuals that have professional experience with legal, philanthropy and finance.  Communications Volunteer

Northwest SEED is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented person to research, develop, and implement communications strategies for social and traditional media channels. The volunteer will work closely with Northwest SEED’s Development Manager to compile reports on communications, and complete data entry to inform these reports. A successful candidate will be methodical, creative, have a sense of humor, and a passion for increasing access to renewable energy in our region. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have significant experience with Excel, Facebook, Twitter, and Hootsuite.
